Logo Designer Recommendations Needed
OK, DIA needs a logo. I know exactly what I want but it's beyond my illustrative capabilities. So what I need is someone who can create a cartoon-like logo (I have an idea for a caricature-like Statue of Liberty literally "diving into" a map of America, or into New York Harbour).
Anyone got any good ideas?

If nobody here can do it I would head on over to Castle Melody, I have had experience with them before and they are brilliant. http://www.castlemelody.com

For what it's worth, I've had experience with CastleMelody, they made a guy for me. Pretty good to be honest.

Hmm....sure I could cram this in with Homework!
Martin - I could get the husband to sketch up some ideas and then I can mock something up if you want. Let me know!

Neat idea, I could run with this or...you could run all your ideas by me.
Paul - or you could get your bro to draw a cool statue of liberty monster? j/k

C, you're a star. If you could have a play and see what emerges, I'd be grateful.

Ok, hopefully this isn't needed IMEDIATELY but I will get something together in a timely matter. Give me a day (or two). I'll get sketches together and show them to you so you can decide then we'll move on to Illustrator for the final comp

Nah, nothing's immediate on a personal site!
Once again, thanks Christina. Just think Warner Brothers meets Ghostbusters 2.

Warner Brothers meets Ghostbusters 2? OKAY. I like the marshmellow man.......he was so cool. The walking Statue of Liberty though, that was one of the coolest effects.
No problem, I'll get the hubby to sketch some stuff out after dinner tonight while we watch The WB I'm sure we'll manage to come up with something to your liking.
