Buddy of mine needed something done real fast so I didn't have any real chance to research... he needed a player on a page for mp3's. Having not done this but a couple of times I used the player found here http://radio.zanorg.com/radiov2_eng.htm which did exactly what he wanted. However, it appears that if you have IE7 and RealPlayer you get a "download this clip" link that pops up above the player.
Anyway to prevent that? Any better free player out there that prevents that?
Thanks

Hi,
At one time I used to use Real Player but not any more. It was just to proprietary. Now it sounds like one more good reason not to use it.
Are you saying that you are creating files which are Real Media Video files and you don’t want them downloaded or that the Real player will download any and all video files?
Far as I know, the Real player will only play .rm files, so are other files a concern?
Actually any video file which is progressively downloaded, including the new YouTube files, sits in your temp Internet cache and can be copied.
