Firefox will not play embedded real video

I have a valid XHTML embedding code for a real video (Real Player). It works perfectly in Explorer 6. The video does not even show up on Firefox 2.0 . Is there a valid code that will work in Firefox? Having googled this, it appears that there is a major problem with Firefox.
