Can you go into more detail regarding the image manipulation you're trying to achieve? PHP itself cannot manipulate images - you need to access plug-ins such as GD2 and ImageMagick for manipulation.

Are you looking at uploading images through a form? What are the specifics of the form? Is there an example out there of what you're trying to achieve?
