I don't know how you're seeing that on a page served as text/html?

But it's served as application/xhtml+xml, at least to my browser and here:

How odd. I didn't think Microsoft knew anything about application/xhtml+xml. Nobody in their right minds would devise such a thing. I'd suggest trying another browser, the post is worthwile. Can't you re-parse the page as HTML? Opera has this option when it throws a well-formed error, so you can see the page anyway.

I'd suggest trying another browser, the post is worthwile. Can't you re-parse the page as HTML? Opera has this option when it throws a well-formed error, so you can see the page anyway.
I notice Opera displays the page without complaint. I give "draconian error handling" in Firefox a year.
