Alright, now the importing in to Flash is out of the way, I'm looking for a free or relatively cheap video editor.
I don't need anything fancy. I just need to be able to easily edit parts of a video out of the final file.
I have Windows Movie Maker, which is good for adding a few transition effects, but I've found that its "trim" feature isn't all that easy to use.
Any recommendations?

Everything I use for editing is on a Mac except for After Effects ;) I have used Avid back in the day. The UI is killer though, not sure about the free version though. All of the above are free editors.
For a paid cheap solution, maybe Pinnacle Studio 8 (http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,1759,1264724,00.asp) and is only $34.00 usd

Fantastic! Thanks C.
I'm using VirtualDub right now, and it seems to be handling everything I want it to handle without any trouble. :)

Along with those, if you want to spend some money and get a very good tool, look into Premiere Elements (http://www.adobe.com/products/premiereel/). It has a lot of filters, tools, and the UI is very easy to use. Plus, it's a lot like Premiere Pro in the UI so it works very well. Powerful export features etc. I remember seeing once an online editor, but I'll have to look once more.

Thanks Jacob.
Vito recommended I purchase Adobe's Vlog It software. For £20, it was a steal. I've been playing with it and I'm very impressed. :)

It must be a new line of software, because I had never heard of it. It is a steal, especially if that's all you need it for (blogging). You might have liked Premiere Ele. more if you were going to need the effects/editing interface, but since you don't this will work great. Have fun!

Mobile 3GP converter 1.0.0 (http://www.freedownloadscenter.com/Multimedia_and_Graphics/Misc__Sound_Tools/Mobile_3GP_converter.html) claims to be able to convert 3GP to AVI. From there, you should be able to create a DVD using Nero or whatever program you have to make a DVD with.
