this is not made up, it REALLY happened, I know all the people involved and its one of the funniest things I've ever heard!
My mate Bill lives next door to another one of my friends, Harry.
Bill has a jack russel dog, and harry, until recently, had a rabbit (white one with red eyees - freaky!).
aaanyway.
Bill was in his garden, having a cigareet, when his dog comes in the garden with the affore mentioned rabbit, hanging from his mouth, coverred in blood.
Thinking his dog had killed the rabbit, Bill knew not what to do, so he washed the rabbit (!) blowdried it and put it back in its cage. He thought about this before hand and didnt want to go through the:
"my dog lkilled your rabbit because I wasn't really paying attention to it!"
Bill was in the pub last night and told me all of this, and was considering telling harry everything as he was feeling pretty guilty, but harry never turned up at the pub and bill went home as he was working early today.
5 minutes after bill left harry turned up in the pub.
Harry sat down next to me and said "you will NEVER guess what happened to me, my rabbit died a few days ago, and today I was going to clean the cage out when he was back in his cage, long after I had buried it, not a mark on him"
and so it remains. one day we (or bill) will tell him.
