What was the first 'product' that you actually purchased online?

Mine was the Zeus Marketing Robot (for fun) way back in '99 I think.

Wow, good question. Believe it or not, I think my first online purchase was hosting, when I launched my first site ever on paid servers.

hmm.......back in 95/96 I sold stuff on Ebay for the first time..and I think I made my first purchase that way as well! I think I may have bought some clothes...but I don't remember....!

My first purchase online was a computer system from NuTrend Computer (http://nutrend.com/) back in 1997 (who it seems has been bought out by ABS Computer). It was an AMD K6-2 450Mhz machine with 128MB of RAM and a 17" ( ! ) monitor. It was a birthday present for me from my parents (the reason it was my first purchase was that I had to pay half - the system was $1300). :D

If we are thinking physical, well... probably an item from Ebay (Not sure what item, but it was most likely from Ebay).

Apart from physical purchases, my first ever purchase was a domain, warleyscouts.org.uk I think. That reminds me, it needs renewing. :)
