View Full Version : Nice Lazy Day?

I've noticed a few boards going rather slow today. Is everyone having a lazy morning? I'm feeling a bit unmotivated myself. I think I might leave work early today, have a beer, sit around and basically not do much of anything. After pouring myself into work this weekend, I could use it...

I'd have been posting but the I.T admin at work banned this site, and this site alone, how stupid :|

Don't mind the bandwidth - that's the backdoor viruses hard at work. Once they've all installed, bandwidth usage will return to normal.

Lazy? Hah! Busier than I've been in quite a few months. Not to mention I just nailed to more jobs. All in all, 4Q is shaping up to be very nice. ;)

Well, we'll find out if we can add a little something to your list of things to do ;)
Jamie, what's the good news? I'm starting to wonder if getting new accounts is really good news or not. I'm over capacity right now - the next jobs that come my way I'm going to have to farm out...

Good news, just got a few hosting clients and some good news within the business (cant speak publicly). I'm a very happy person today, although I'm having some mysql problems at the moment.

I've made huge progress actually today, but at 7.45pm I'm knackered and ready to go to bed.

Who said my day was going good? Got to 9:30pm, nearly time for me to hit the relaxation stage in the lounge and my mysql issues go from bad to worse. From an image not been entered in to the database to not been able to connect to the mysql server and all this without me even touching anything. Me thinks somebody is fiddling with the server somewhere but the techs havent got a clue.

lol. Now you will laugh. The critical error of not connecting has now gone and the image finally adds itself to the database, but, the image I upload is not the image that displays. Sometimes I wonder why I bother with this darn web design malarky. ;)

My day has consisted of registering my car and sorting out my finances - ouch is all I'll say.
Now it's time to get back to the Kinkamono redesign...

Can't wait to see how Kinkamono turns out :)
I'm working diligently on the redesign and reengineering of Gasser Jewelers Web site. If anyone cares to see that with which I have to work, here it is: http://www.gasserjewelers.com It would be slightly less of an atrocity if I didn't have the code error splayed across the top of the page. But it's pretty bad, regardless...

I'm too busy to post today, except for a nearby rant and this entertaining thread:

Lazy... I am a lazy person by nature, but unfortunately I dont have (enough) opportunities to practice that part of my nature.
You'd think being sick and staying in bed all day would be more fun then this! It would REALLY be more fun if I wasnt alone in it...

I'd like to be lazy, but since it's the first time I've gotten a good sleep in months, I'm up to my ears in work. Mucking with SSL, learning Flash, blah blah blah. :)
