Just watched the England game against spain, in spain (I would use a capital letter but I have no respect for them right now), but the racism towards the black players on the England team was terrible. Where I live in England we don't have racism, none at all.

Everytime a Black, English player got the ball they started chanting racist comments. FIFA made an official complaint to UEFA after the racist chants in the youth game last night, and efforts to get rid of racism have done a lot, but so much more to go.

Like it or not, sadly its everywhere. You'd be surprised, perhaps in England its less then in Spain. Oh, wait... is that a racist comment? Spanish people are racists? Is that what I said? ...Am I a racist? duh'! :(

I dont see the point in itm there people no matter the colour or race ... Something needs to be done about it, and personally, if i was the referee, i would have stopped the game.

Spain should be banned from entering International games. See if their fans will wake up and smell 2004 then.

I feel one reason *some* of the Spanish did this was the fact that Spain does not have a large mix of ethnic groups like other places such as England do and therefore do not have respect and the education with regards to racisim. Lets face it, it doesn't help when the Spanish Coach calls one of the world class black footballers "a black s**t" before the game.
