Since we're still a little bit away from officially launching this puppy, I thought I'd have a little fun while watching the Yankees get smoked tonight.

Just for kicks, I made up a little ranking system. It doesn't really match up with anything in particular, but it sure was fun to do :D

Check by your names - you'll see what kind of fun I was having. Here's the rest of te ranking system - I'll probably pull it down, at least the belts. Don't mind me!

Nope, you got it right. You're a black belt :) It's a privilege of being an IWDN Member. But like I said, this system will likely go away, unless people think it's a good/fun one to keep.

The blue card thing is the mod I've been working on. Hence the notice at the top of the page, which will be disappearing in a few minutes. This mod allows anyone to report suspicious or offensive posts. Mods/admins can then warn or ban the offending poster. Currently, five warning = ban. Mods/admins can also ban people outright.

It's a neat system, and not the funnest one in the world to implement either, let me tell you! I'll be posting a permanent notice in the side navigation area so everyone knows what's up.

When you mouse over the Blue card...I get no indication that it is in fact a Blue card....?

Ah... I now see, sorry for that. I have 4 buttons because of being an admin. I assumed this was what everyone was viewing but I was wrong. :)

Just curious. would it be possible to change the image to something with the text "Report Post" on? Then users know what it is. It should just be a case of replacing the image on the server.

Edit2: seems you can not edit after more then 15 minutes, but you also have to wait 90 seconds to be able to edit!

Is it a # of posts to reach the different belts, or is it set?

If its posts how many are needed for each one, if its set by admins/mods then under what circumstances?

I'm not privy to the numbers, but everything up to Web Guru (brown belt with 3 stripes) is post-based. Black belt, and black/red belt are special ranks reserved for the admins and members of the core IWDN team.
