Microsoft ready to launch search engine
Microsoft on Thursday will launch its long-promised Internet search engine, which will compete directly with market leader Google, sources close to the company said Tuesday.

In my honest opinion, Google will prevail. Microsoft is slowly being irradicated by better quality products. Unless they decide to take their head out their *where the sun don't shine* then companies like Google who care about customer satisfaction will stay market leaders.

Blah on Microsoft. I agree they won't be able to surpass or compete with Google....Google already owns the search engine market by far. Microsoft should just stick to Xbox and make that a better product . Or spend more time to make Windows function correctly!!!! Ahhh....

That's the problem; they won't. Microsoft has it's heart set on owning the computing industry. Instead of releasing fewer better products, they bite off more than they can chew.

Microsoft on Thursday will launch its long-promised Internet search engine, which will compete directly with market leader Google, sources close to the company said Tuesday.They've been beta-testing this SE for a while now, and from everything that's been said, its algorithm looks very promising and accurate. But hey, IE4 was way ahead of its time when it was released. Let's see how this SE works now and in a few years after they've abandoned it too.
