As a person with a very similiar experience I can attest to the fact that it definately hurts. My experience was walking on a catwalk with a trap door on one end and I fell through to the floor (10 ft drop)

But I'm told it looked very funny though, (no, I wasn't seriously hurt, no broken bones) My self esteem took quite a beating though.

I'm sorry to say this Ross, but I'll bet that was funny as hell! I'm glad you came out of it with no permanent injuries or psychological trauma.

I'll bet that was funny as hell!

The really funny part was the fact that I had opened the trap door myself and then promptly forgot about it until I fell through. :o
