View Full Version : Sent Mail Vs Outbox?

This may seem like a stupid question but here goes anyway. I have now gone to using Opera's email client for sending/receiving emails instead of using AOL's built in feature and neomail on my web sites.

But, sometimes when I try sending an email, it jumps straight in to the outbox without sending, rather than sending and going in to the sent mail section.

What is the difference between the two and any idea why sometimes emails go to the outbox rather than sent mail? :?

IIRC, it would go to the outbox if you attempted to send it but lost your connection for one reason or another. It just means it's in queue to be sent. It shows up in the draft folder when you're still writing it, and it shows up in the sent folder when it has confirmed it is sent.

M2 roolz :D

I see, so basically I can blame it on AOL yet again (If not, I will do anyway) ;) Getting shut of AOL this week, my life without AOL, I wouldn't have any fun at all, i'll sure miss restarting my computer every 10 minutes.

OT> Paul, when is this acronym guide coming?

M2 does infact, rool!
