Uploading data to databases

I have downloaded an exel file from phpMyAdmin, is it possible for me to now edit that file and upload it back into the database?

This might work:Excel to MySQL (http://www.globalshareware.com/Business-Finance/Database-Management/Excel-to-MySQL.htm) - I am not too familar with the phpAdmin, but there are a lot of programs out there to convert.
