Search engines are going thru their own problems now. They are trying to provide more search friendly results. When you focus on common sense you will be competitive long term.

We are about to see some major algorithm changes especially in Google.
Good content, good incoming and outgoing links from quality sites, good structures will survive when many are going to drop like flies (especially sites involved in random link schemes). I am about to post a new thread about this.
